Counterfeit check fraud and other types of fraud typically increase during difficult economic conditions. According to recent reports, fraud is expected to increase 30% in 2009 and 2010.

 

The Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) has partnered with Advanced Fraud Solutions (AFS) to help Missouri credit unions combat fraud. AFS provides a counterfeit check fraud detection program called TrueChecks™. The program is designed to catch counterfeit check fraud on the front-lines, saving financial institutions both money and time.
